David Wood is a successful personal and business coach. He has affiliation with the International Coach Federation (ICF). He has founded the International Coach Academy, which trains coaches in nine countries. He has personally counseled more than 60 coaches around the world. David has handled clients in 15 countries. Those include the US, Canada, England, Australia, France, Spain, New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Japan.
David Wood has offered his consulting services to some of the largest companies in the world. Organizations such as IBM, Sony Music, Ford, General Motors, Exxon and Chrysler have taken his help on incentive schemes for their employees.
After being involved with these big companies, David Wood has decided to work with people and help them grow in their personal and financial life. Unlike other business gurus, he does not try to deal with too many clients at one time. He usually works with 10 to 20 clients.
David Wood has created several programs to train coaches on how to deal with clients. He has authored the program “The Coach Start Manual”. It throws light on coaching as a business and provides an effective road map for success in the business. Another important program from David is “50 Life Coaching Questions to Take Control of Your Life and Help Your Clients”. His other products include “10 Super Coaches Share Their Secrets” and “Getting Your First 50 Clients”. These programs have helped speakers, coaches, trainers and consultants to strengthen their business.
David Wood offers coaching via phone from his base in Byron Bay, Australia. Occasionally, he does it from Sydney and New York also. He also appears on two national television networks with his personal coaching.
David Wood has won accolades from both his clients and critics. He has received the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coach Federation in Washington, D.C. He is one of seven coaches in to receive this designation.
