OnlyCritiques.com Review:

A bank debenture is a promissory note issued by a financial organization acknowledging a debt.

Bank debenture frauds are very common in financial field. A bank debentures scamster makes false claims to the investors that they can get huge interest in short period of time from their investments. We wish to have a lot of money without doing much work. This is the reason that we easily trust these scammers and lose our hard-earned money.

Some scammers pose as professionals, who are bound by the oath of confidentiality not to disclose any information. Hence, the investors are deprived of the right to know whether bank debentures are registered with securities commission or not.  On the other hand, a legitimate bank debenture is always registered with securities commission and investors can anytime check its authenticity.

The bank debentures scammers use various ways to lure innocent people, who want to earn huge amount of money in real quick time. The scammer may say that by investing in bank debentures you (the investor) can be a part of a secret private banking system, which involves only 5 (or any number which comes to his mind) other members. He never names the secret banking system on the pretext of its exclusivity to its members. He also says that this system would give you an interest of 50% or more on your investments within a year.  For example, he can say that your $10,000 investment will give you an interest of $5,000 within a year.

This is false as no financial institution gives such a high interest rate on investments.

The scammer in his efforts to lure investors and make an impact on them uses forged bank documents and includes names of reputed financial institutions like The US Treasury and the International Chamber of Commerce, IMF, and the World Bank as the participating agencies in the schemes.

Every year many people fall pray to these scamsters by investing in fraudulent bank debentures. These innocent people lose their hard-earned money in the hope of getting huge interest rates.  However, many people never learn from their mistakes and they again invest in these scams.

You can save yourself from bank debenture frauds by using your brain and instincts. If you come across any bank debenture, which gives an interest of more than 20% a year, keep away from that scheme.
