Tony Martinez is a man with passion in films. He did not enter the field to become an actor but unlike others after completing his graduation from the film school in New York, he started working as a freelance cinematographer. During that time, he shot exclusives like illegal factory conditions in Central America to live surgery in the Albama. After the camera handling he started working as a music video producer and produced many videos for the actors like Run-DMC, The Black Crowes and The Beastie Boys.

Soon the music video industry started looking monotonous to this man and after the sabbatical of six months and going through several rounds of interview Tony Martinez joined as an assistant at Paradigm, a talent agency in Los Angeles. He started enjoying his work in the company and after attending the training program for two years, he shifted at Epstein Wyckoff & Associates. He stayed there for five years, and again switched to GVA and is currently working there for the past four years. After gaining so much experience in the field, he also wrote a book An Agent Tells All. The book is written in a conversationalist style and tells you about tools of the trade.

Tony Martinez’s book An Agent Tells All is for new and struggling actors. He wants them to learn the rules of the film to get that final break. The book gives you details from the agent’s perspective like auditioning, pilot role, casting process, roles of networks and studios, etc. The book gives confidence to budding and struggling actors who are though in the industry and yet feel isolated.
