Robert J. Abalos is a distinguished and widely respected real estate investor. He has been in the business for more than twenty years. He has impeccable credentials, having graduated from Boston College Law School. He also worked as and analyst at the reputed firm of Morgan Stanley in New York with a specialization in formation and management of real estate investment trusts ("REITs") and pooling of mortgage-backed securities likes REMICs. Based on his vast experience he has authored a book, Investing in Land. He also organizes Investing in Land Live conventions, which are hugely popular across the country.

Abalos is the head of the firm Terra Realty International LLC, which has large exposure to real estate investment all over the world in development of hotels, resorts, commercial and residential properties. The firm has equity interests in many publicly traded corporations, and real estate investment trusts. Robert J. Abalos also publishes Real Estate Investor Magazine and owns reinvestormagazine.com.

Robert J. Abalos wrote the book with intention of educating people about the investment and profit potential of land. He believes in ethical investing and does not sell any grand plans for instant riches. His purpose is to educate investors with genuine information. His plan of investing involves a study of the land marketplace and dynamics of the property where one wishes to invest. He states that one should buy selectively, at less than market prices and sell as soon as possible at a profit.
