There is probably not much about the web marketing and e-business that Dr Ralph Wilson does not know about. From 1995 onward, Dr Wilson has been publishing business e-mail newsletters and has developed successful models for both free and paid newsletters. In the past 10 years, this ‘Internet guru’, has made himself the master of Internet marketing. 

His excellent business strategies have not gone unnoticed. In a 2000 write-up about Dr Wilson, Business Week called his popular website wilsonweb.com the “best e-commerce resource out there. The New York Times stated that Dr Wilson is “among the best-known Internet Marketing publishers and consultants who preach the responsible use of e-mail for marketing." He also won the Tenagra Award for Internet Marketing Excellence. Today, Dr Wilson, who holds three academic degrees, lives with his wife in Loomis, California. He speaks widely at conferences in the and abroad.

Dr Wilson realized the potential of Internet marketing early on and formed his company Wilson Internet Services in 1995, when commercial Internet was in its infancy. His aim was to help small and medium-sized businesses and organizations learn to use the Internet to further their interests.  He also founded Web Marketing Today®, a free Internet marketing e-zine, and Web Marketing Today Premier Edition, a paid monthly newsletter. Dr Wilson also provides telephone-consulting facilities to his patrons for a meager $125 per hour!  His E-books sell for $10-$20. Each e-book is of 20-50 pages.

One of Dr Wilson’s books, Planning Your Internet Marketing Strategy, which was published in 2002, is an absolute must for anyone planning to build a business on the Internet or convert a website to e-commerce.
