There is no end to scams in this world. Every day we wake up to a new scam discovered but unfortunately this is never too soon since many people are already defrauded. One such scam is the Jamvo referral Program. It is a fraud company operated by one Jeffrey A. Augugliaro of Nassau County. Augugliaro has interests in several scams including a few that defrauded innocent people in the name of charity.
Jamvo sells free air tickets to companies and pays people commissions for marketing Jamvo. The whole referral network works around the idea of introducing Jamvo to new customers and when they sign up for free trials of a program the introducer gets money and the customer gets free air tickets. Several people sign up to introduce Jamvo’s promotional program to other organizations. This is more so since the sign up and service costs only about $30 a month. The commission promised is $200 for every success sale Jamvo makes.
Jamvo promises to pay its marketers an initial introducing commission of $5 and a full commission of $200 once the customer fills out a form to apply for the free air ticket. They also claim transparency and urge us to check our commission status regularly.
The commission payments are apparently made on the 20th of each month. Unfortunately, if any payment comes your way, it is probably a result of some poor customer getting defrauded. Jamvo puts up an impressive MLM façade but it is purely hollow and makes money out of needy people.
In 2005, the Attorney General’s office in New York attained a restraining order against Jeffrey A. Augugliaro. His many Internet scams solicited donations for phony charities after promising people airline tickets. Apart from Jamvo, another website that Augugliaro set up was massmarketingprogram.com. This website had much the same purpose as jamvo.com. The scam was so ruthless that they defrauded a cancer patient into paying money to get an air ticket she intended to use for her hospital visit.
