Departure Central Inc. (DCI) is a travel company specializing in supplier travel. The high-tech DCI Booking Engine allows you to reserve air tickets, cars, cruises and hotel accommodation online. The company claims to have worldwide access to more than 785 airline carriers, 51,976 hotel properties, 43 car rental companies, 11 cruise lines and several resorts and condominiums.

You can become a DCI Basic Member and operate as an independent travel agent. You do not need to pay a fee to join. All members are entitled to their individual travel-booking engine and can make commissions. As your acquaintances and prospective customers, hit your personal site and order tickets or accommodation, you get a commission.

However, a press report released in December 2005 highlighted the fact that management of Departure Central is working in the resolution of these issues and will shortly resume communication. After someone posted messages on their website giving information of cancelled checks and about how people could reclaim their money, their homepage started functioning. None of the other pages on the website is operational.
